There was a sort of reunion at Mick Hayes's wedding. Three of the Shanks got on the stage and tried to play some of their old songs. It was very rough and some of the people watching would have remembered the lyrics better than the band. Afterwards I realised it had been nearly twelve years since the last gig. It was in Connollys of Leap, December 1999.
I found this team photo from the night. That night was a reunion of sorts too with Baz and Tim rejoining for the gig. It's great to see the heads again and bitter sweet to see Paddy McNicol (bottom right) who passed away in 2010.
