Back in the Saddle - Crane Lane Sat 30th April 2011 - free gig

The Magnificent Seven

It's been nearly three years since we last did a public concert of our "Stanley Goes Country" set.

In the meantime we've been high tailing it around Mexico and the southren states of America.
By day we did our best to protect small villagers and townsfolk from maurading banditos and greed crazed cattle ranchers.

At night we made a few quid playing at hoe downs and barndances.

Somtimes we'd practice harmonica by the campfire and othertimes we'd go looking for trouble and get into banjo duels with passing strangers.

If you'd like to catch up with the possie's progress we'll see you at the Crane Lane Theatre in Cork on Saturday 30th of April. Doors are at 4.30 and the gig will start at 5 - entry is free.

We'll be doing some countrified Stanley Super 800 choons, some old timey and bluegrass, country classics, country & irish. and a few surprises too.

With special guests Aaron Dillon - a horse thieving northerner, Aidan O'Halloran - the singing barman and the sweet tones of Annette Buckley.

See yaw'll there.. :)

Here's an old tune I found recently. We've added a fiddle, mandolin and a drummer to the line up since this recording but it'll give you an idea of the sort of fare you'll get at the show in the Crane Lane.

Enjoy
